Flatbed Shipping

Open trailers for oversized, heavy, or awkward freight. No load too big, no cargo too complex.

Overview

What is Flatbed Shipping?

Flatbed trailers are open trailers without sides or a roof, consisting of a flat platform for hauling freight. They’re essential for cargo that won’t fit in enclosed trailers.

Flatbeds offer maximum flexibility for loading — freight can be loaded from the sides, rear, or by crane from above. This makes them ideal for oversized, heavy, or irregularly shaped cargo.

Cargo is secured using chains, straps, binders, and tarps. Experienced flatbed operators know how to properly secure various types of freight to ensure safe transport.
